Sew Sweet Card using Plantin Schoolbook

Hi, this is Joy from Everyday Cricut and Obsessed with Scrapbooking and I'm thrilled to be a guest designer today on Pam's blog! Thank you so much, Pam, for having me!

Today's card is a standard A2 size (4-1/4" x 5-1/2") and is composed of papers and chipboard accents by Cosmo Cricket. Ribbon by Papertrey Ink and sentiment made on my computer and punched out with a label Stampin Up! punch.

I inked all the edges of the papers with appropriate colored chalk ink by ClearSnap/Colorbox. I LOVE those inks - no smearing! Using the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge, I cut out the zig zag pattern at 3/4" twice and then added pen stitching - once in black and once in white.

I always like to add in something on the inside just to tie the front and insides together, design wise. I just LOVE this measuring tape paper by Cosmo Cricket. The paper used here is from their Material Girl and Garden Variety lines of paper.

I added another chipboard dress accent on the envelope and below is an up close look at the zig zag piece from Plantin Schoolbook. It's a great accent for the whole sewing theme!

Thanks so much for stopping by, my sweet papercrafting friends!!
