Antique Lace - DS4J

Recently I got some tattered lace dies and this collection - the ornamental antique lace I should say is one of my favorites along with the tuck in dies to match.
And When I saw the digistamp4joy challenge this month both on the Fb Challenge page and their challenge Blogspot I thought this would be the perfect die to use.

Image : Dress up Dummy (which can be got from this link here after reading and following the rules)
Colored with copics and the background is with distress ink and prismacolor pencils
Dies used : Tattered lace ornamental antique rectangles , ornamental tuck in dies and flower medley
Sentiment : Printed in computer.

Have a Bow-tiful Day

Made a card for Digistamps4Joy Progressive FB Challenge. using the image Betty Bow.

I colored the image using Copics.

The sentiment I typed out ( Font used is Roundhand Blk)

Materials used are:

Copics to color.

(E13,E11,E00 and E000 for face; RV 6's and RV 1's for bow and flower; B0's for dress and E55, E50 and E3 for hair)

Relax and enjoy - DS4j September challenge

This is the card I made for this month's challenge at DS4J FB challenge

I drew the background behind the digi.

The embossing folder and the die cuts are from tattered lace. I cut into the cardstock with their melded background die before embossing and then added the circle tuck in die cut.

I am enjoying coloring now and I am ok if the colors go out of the line and I mess up a little.
So doing a little bit of crafting nowadays. Not my usual pace but I am happy.

The word die is tattered lace. The shape is cut using one of the spellbinders grand nestabilities label dies. I threaded the card through the die so that it would cut only one side like a border.

Christmas card at DS4J

Hi
Every month there is a christmas challenge at Digistamps4joy where you are given a free image to play with on request and you make a card and link it up - http://digistamps4joy-sa.blogspot.com/2014/03/monthly-christmas-challenge-march-2014.html.

Here is my card using the image and a digipaper and snowflakes punch. A very simple quick card.

The only embellishments are rhinestones and lace along with gel pen to write over the letters to give some gloss. As I said a quick quick card.

If you haven't already do go the site and request the image and play. You can get ahead on those christmas cards you make this year.

Christmas challenge card at DS4J

I didn't do justice to the card due to some unforeseen circumstances.
Colored using zig stella markers. They look good face to face and glitter but are kind of awful to take photo of.

I have used Washi tape, stickers and embossing folder to decorate.

Challenge # 85 - Hearts

The challenge this fortnight at DS4J is Hearts and hosted by DT member Karin .

THEME : 'Add a heart, or make a heart-shaped card"

I have used images Bedazzled Bride and Heart of roses

The flowers are handmade and the leaves cut using spellbinder die.

The heart border is a memory box die and the lacy heart doily is die from tattered laces. I love their dies!

I also used an embossing folder on the pink cardstock.

Added lots of pearls on the dress and rhinestones on the hearts.

DS4J CHALLENGE # 84 - 'Add some real ribbon"

The challenge this fortnight at DS4J is sponsored by design team member Antoinette
The THEME : 'Add some real ribbon"
I made the card using image - Best Friends

I used ribbon on the grass (in front of the grass border die). Cutting and fraying the ribbon gives a lovely grass effect. I furled the ends around a pencil and then heat set the satin with hot embossing gun so that it remains curled. Flowers are using spellbinder die and ek success retro punch. I flattened a bead cap and added to the retro punch flower.

Some Bunny Loves You

This Sunday Release at DS4J Shop has some cute images and one of these is Bunny Egg
Here is a card I made using this lovely image

I colored the image using colorbox chalk ink with Fantastix Brush Tip.

The dies are spellbinder bluebell d'lites

Memory box - wild Flower Field. It cuts the small flowers each individually. I stuck it behind the grass border which is a die from die versions - my favorite things.

The embossing folder is also from spellbinders.

Hello Dear - Sunday Release

This Sunday has some fun release at DS4J Shop.
This funny image is perfect for valentine called "Hello Dear"

The pattern paper is from American Crafts. I printed the image on a heart (using photoshop). I added a doily and some buttons and a metal heart embellishment and tied a length of raffia into bow.

DS4J Sunday release - "Parisienne bistro"

One of the new images is "Parisienne bistro". I have combined it with Martini Supermodel in the card below.

Don't you love the die? It is from tattered lace. Using this for the first time and I am so in love with it's intricate cutting. Unfortunately not so readily available here in U.S. Only scrapyland and franticstampers carry it now and not all of them :(. Cardstock is old stash - DCWV La Creme

DS4J CHALLENGE # 83 - 'Glitter 'n Sparkle"

Happy New Year to all of you.
The challenge this fortnight at DS4J Challenge Blog is 'Glitter 'n Sparkle" . An apt theme to celebrate New Year isn't it?
I have used an image called Joy

For the background paper I passed the cardstock through xyron machine to apply glue all over. Then placed a lace on it and added blue glitter. Then removed the lace and added green glitter. That's how you get the pattern on the glitter. I then sealed it with sealant. The image is colored with copics and then I added spica and stickles to it. Punched the edge of the cardstock and added ribbon and some flowers and cut some swirls (I think it was marianne die). Some rhinestones colored blue with copics for bling.

Christmas Surfer

Brr... It is cold here. But wouldn't it be so fun at a warm beach.
Well one of this Sunday's release at DS4J Shop is Christmas Surfer

And here is my card using this image

I colored it using copics but then added glitter marker over it . It has been sitting on the shelf for so long and I was afraid that it would have dried up on me but thankfully no. It looks really shiny when I look at it but on camera seems so spotty in the light. The images of board wave and words are from Silhouette online store.
