Father and Son layout

Good Morning!

I'm so happy to be over at The Bugbytes today! Pam, thank you again for asking me to be part of your amazing team.

Everything I've been doing lately revolves around my youngest son and my new Grandson. (I've gone a bit over the top with photo's lately, but I'm extremely proud of my Grandson and the Father my son has become!) I've also been following a lot of sketches lately. For today's layout, I followed the sketch over at Boys Rule. I also used my Imagine!! It's been a very expensive dust collector lately. It took me awhile to uncover it, it had so much stuff put on top of it.

I used CCR, letter envy and the Heirloom cartridge.
The scalloped circle was cut @ 10.25 and the circle @ 9.5. I cut 4 strips @ 1.25 x 4 and trimmed them down as needed.

I glue the circle to the scalloped circle.

I cut 5 shapes from letter evny @ 2.25 and 2 1.75. I also cut one strip of blue @ 10 x .5.

I used my white gel pen to add the stitching and then glued everything together.
Following sketches has really taken me out of my comfort zone, but I like how (most) they have turned out!

Please stop by my blog, 3 Cats and a Bug to see what other sketches I've been working on.

Thanks for looking!

That is such a sweet baby and a wonderful LO. I love the colors. I struggle with masculine cards and LO. Thanks for the link on where you got the inspiration.

What a sweet, sweet layout! As a grandmother I know just what you mean about revolving around those special little one's in our lives. Grands are just the best! Congrats on your new little one!
