thank you so much for taking the time to create this wonderful presentation! I have both the ds and gypsy and was wondering how to do this. With your great video, I am able to transfer files and teach my friends. Keep up the fantastic work!

Pam, this is Carol in the UK (you sent me a message yesterday), I have tried to save a Gypsy file to DS but I do not have the Gypsy software on my computer. I cannot open the file to then 'save as' .cut file I hope this makes sense to you. Do you have to have the Gypsy software on your computer to be able to open the file in the first place?. I will send you the link to the MB for the ladies that were discussing your blog. Well done on your hard work.

hello carol. You do not need a Gypsy to do that. Just check if the version or build of CDS. Usually even if it says no updates - there is. The version should be 1.0.31101.0. If not please go to cricut website and download the design studio update - install and then you will find the gypsy option in File options drop down.

Thanks for the great video! It was very helpful. Can't wait to convert my cut files to gypsy. Great idea naming your file folders as you did, too!
