It's TUESDAY!!!!

MYAMAGOO here,

WELCOME to our very new and very shiny blog TUESDAY TREATS!! This blog is a collaboration that Pam and I have created over the last month or two. We hope you like it here (I worked really hard on the blog header and background prettying it up), while Pam was SO VERY BUSY organizing all of you wonderful designers - fine tuning our blog, and getting us some very cool blog buttons!

Our hopes for this blog are to be able to share our knowledge with new and not so new Gypsy owners.  Inspire our readers by sharing our creations with one another.  We are starting off with tackling the Cricut Cartridge:  Tags, Bags, Boxes & More.  I was asked to try my hand at page 121.

Needless to say with the camera rolling nothing went right........ enjoy the video's they catch me at my finest hour lol!!!!

I decided for my first post I would be better able to explain my methods and thought process using video.  Future posts from myself will incorporate both pictures and videos, but today is special....so lots of video!

Here is what I came up with:

Gypsy Design Part 1:

If you cannot see this video click here

Gypsy Design Part 2:

If you cannot see this video click here

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:

PART 2:

Are you kidding me? lol It may not have been what you envisioned but it turned out wonderfully! I love that you showed us how to make lemons out of lemonade. You changed directions when things did not go the way you wanted it and you turned the lemons into lemonade. Not just any lemonade but DELICIOUS lemonade and you gave us the recipe! You showed the basics as well as advanced skills which made this class well worth the money! lol You had something in the video for everybody and I just think it is AWESOME! See, I am going to stop playing with you ladies because I am tempted to link those carts! lol Just a few will not hurt, right! lol Mya I have said this countless times and it is worthy of me saying it AGAIN! GIRL YOU ROCK, YOU ARE AWESOME, YOU ARE TALENTED AND YOU ARE WONDERFUL!!! Did I leave any words out! lol THANK YOU!!!

Do I really have to say who I am because you already know without me saying it! lol

MERCY!!!!!

OMG!! This is just awesome!! You are only human and it just shows all of us that everything isn't going to be perfect every time that we go to make a creation. I just love your box! I'm really excited about this new blog. I'm so new with my Gypsy Girl that I really need something like this to help me come up with new projects and things. Thanks guys for doing this great blog! I'm gonna love it, I know!!! :)

AWESOME! I love the box, the video, and to find out that I am not the only one that alters my project in midstream! I have watched so many videos and everything seems to work out perfectly, I thought I was the only one that was defective! I love the first idea, I love the way you altered it, and I too loved the embossing! I can't wait until next Tuesday! Congratulations on this new blog, it is going to be a real hit!

This was by far the best video tutorial I have seen so far, when it comes to gypsy/cricut playing!! Best thing is that you actually showed that it can go wrong. Most of the times you see a video, and they dont show that it went wrong, so you go traliela at home and your cricut just does not do what you want. So thank you for that!!
Also, I have learned so much from your video's on how to use my gypsy. I had no clue what the bottom half moon was for, so I was always moving my project when I was zoomed in hahahaha ... now I know!!

Having said all that, I think your box absolutely rocks!! I really enjoy crafting on the go. Its what crafting is all about, changing things while you are at it, cos lets face it, most of the times things dont go as you want it to go :):) Or you make a silly mistake that you have to cover up somehow! So yes, big round off applaus to you!!!

Sorry about the long ramble!!

Magoo...you are too hard on yourself - that is an awesome box! It is just beautiful. It's great how you are able to work around any issues you had & still made the box work. Anyone just walking up & seeing the box would have no idea that you had another plan :)))

Mya, it may not be what you intended it to be, but it is georgous!!! I love that stamp you used, now I am kicking myself for not getting it!!! and that embossing powder is my favourite!!!! thanks for showing us the video and showing everyone, that even though it doesn't always go as planned it can still be beautiful.
