It's all about the gaming!

At least it is to my boys! Hi everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations. Thank you Pam for having me here to play today! My boys love anything tech!  So when I saw a game controller on the Wrap it Up cartridge, I knew it had to be mine. I used this cut this past holiday season to give a gift to my 12 year old nephew.
This pillowbox is cut as is directly from the cartridge. I enlarged it on my Gypsy as big as I could get since the I-Tunes Gift Cards are rather large.  It was cut at 11.24 inches out of black cardstock.  I also cut the controller at the same size (real size off) out of blue cardstock.
Then I took clear acetate and cut it to fit over the holes in the box.  I used double sided tape to adhere the acetate to the box.
I assembled the box using the scoremarks.  In hind sight, I would probably go back and Hide Selected contour the side scoremarks (which end up being the top and bottom marks).
They are so big it was kind of annoying when folding.  I used my ATG to glue the edges together and assembled the box.
I filled the box with tissue paper and slid the card inside.
Finally I adhered the blue gaming controller to the box.  Super quick and easy! Zachary loved it and actually kept it instead of tossing it.  That's always a good sign with a 12 year old!
If you'd like the free Gypsy File for this project please visit my personal blog at 217 Creations.  Thank you as always for leaving comments and following us here at The Bug Bytes and at my personal blog 217 Creations.
