My craft space.

Hi all,
Today I thought I'd share with you my crafting space. Everybody has a different set up. Some have amazing craft rooms. I'm not lucky enough to have my own craft room. I thought I'd share with you the little space I have. I'm sorry it is a bit picture heavy.

This is my desk. It sits in an alcove next to the fireplace. It's just over a meter wide. Above it I have a shelf , under it some bits and next to it a bathroom cabinet.

Firstly all my tools are close to hand in this. This is to the left of my chair. I've jammed it full of all the bits I may need.

It sits on a bathroom cabinet. In the cupboard are some books, my 6 x 6 paper pads, cd's and my coloured paperbags.

To the right of my desk I have my copics. These will change though as I'm going to get a Ikea rail to put under the shelf with buckets to put my copics in. As you can see my heat gun is ready to use. There's a hole at the far right corner of the desk which is where the extension goes down to the plug socket.

On my shelf I have my alcohol inks, stickles, and my most used punches.

Here are my Martha stewart punches, ink pads and glue.

Here are my guillotines. In the box is all of my sticky gems ready to hand.

This is to the left of my working area. It'd got my Gypsy, xyron, ribbons for colouring in, and my distress ink storage unit (the white box to the left of the picture)

Here is the inside of my distress ink storage. They are made over in the U.K. I've painted mine and that's as far as I've got with it as yet. Great to just pick up and take to a crop.

Under my desk is a magazine rack. It has, cards, enevelopes and paperbags in the bottom. On the top are some boxes with scraps of paper in and flowers.

In the coloured draws is my adhesives, shaving brushes and my card for my copics.

On the other side of the room I have some shelves. This have my stamps on in the cd boxes. There's also my promarkers and tria's.

At the other end of the shelf are some more stamps, pastels, my prisma pencils, gilding flakes and a tu that has my perfect pearls etc in.

Well I think I've made quite a good use of the little space I have. I do have cupboards that have my 12 x 12 papers in etc but I'll save that for another day. You can tell I have a very supportive husband who doesn't seem to mind putting shelves up and making me cupboards.

I hope you enjoyed and maybe gained some ideas for your own space no matter how big or small it is. Thanks Pam for having me today.

Wow Kelly! You really have it organized well! We have been very blessed to have been able to come up with a room over the last couple of years, but I remember the days of having it all on one desk. Sometimes, I really miss that. There are times now that I walk into the craft room, sit down with so many amazing things to work with and don't accomplish a thing. When I just had the little desk, I many times made things a lot better. So... don't be too quick to outgrow your small space. More isn't always easier to deal with. Hee! Hee! Thanks so much for sharing. You gave me a lot of wonderful organization ideas!

I think your space looks great! For the space you have you look pretty well organized to me! I'd wouldn't dare show mine -- organization may as well have jumped out the window and committed suicide!!! Does that say how awful my craft areas must look? LOL!!!
