Cricut Imagine ? Fire?

Imagine Users be alert
Well be careful everyone and keep your imagine unplugged from plug point when not in use.  Seems like there are lots of cases where the Imagine or it's cord gets really hot. Here is link to a blog where the owner has had the problem - http://www.bugjunkie.blogspot.com/2012/01/cricut-imagine-problems-if-your-imagine.html and also check the cricut MB there are lots of posts on there. Too many to get me worried!
So please please be careful. I have used my 3rd only a couple of times .. the last two had to be returned so I better go up and check mine. But do be careful and unplug them and be around when you do use it - dont walk away! Better safe than sorry!

Since I dont frequent the Cricut board anymore, I hadn't heard this about UNPLUGGING and I never unplug. Having my daughters lose everything but the clothing on their back in a fire this past summer, I can totally appreciate this reminder. I know first hand how sudden these things happen and how devastating it can be. I might also suggest to everyone an insurance check up. If you are a renter, renter's insurance is DIRT CHEAP and you can never have enough!

I appreciate your comments so much. They are treasured and such an inspiration. Thanks for leaving them.
