DHL wrong address - tracking number- BEWARE !! TROJAN

Today I got this in email
A mail supposedly for a package with DHL which was wrongly addressed and with a zip document which had the mailing label to download and print and bring?
well I have all packages sent to me till now with UPS or fedex or plain old USPS
And windows would not let me email to my hubby to ask if he ordered something (which I know he rarely ever does - says much[flapper]  doesn't it who spends)
Anyway suspicious I googled  as  usually they send to the sender emails instead of the receiver  & thought DHL was OOB in US
Well thank heavens I did not download as - It is a TROJAN!!
So please do not download and be careful. mark as phishing scam and delete pronto.
And this goes for any shipping company's mail as if they send you email that means there should be tracking number and you should have checked the receive email option in that else they should be sending info to the seller not you. SO BEWARE!

Thanks for the heads up, especially as the holiday season looms large and packages are coming from hither and yon!

Thanks for info. My mom got one from UPS, so beware of all.

Pam, I've gotten several of those emails from not only DHL but from Fed Ex and US Mail. I kind of figured they were not on the up and up, so that's for confirming that for me -- glad I never opened them!!!

I got one supposedly from FedEx. I was suspicious, so I called the local FedEx office. They told me it was not from them and they asked me to forward it to their abuse email to try to pursue the sender.

"kind encouraging and inspiring words"

I appreciate your comments so much. They are treasured and such an inspiration. Thanks for leaving them.
