One too many punches - Reindeer

:) Well this reindeer after I added eyes does look as if he has had one too many punches!!

After doing advanced calibration with my Imagine I had some rounded squares which I think I cut at 1.75 or 1.60 inches. And I had done it in 2 colors. I didn't have the heart to throw it out so I gathered some and decided to make a card out of it. I embossed them with cuttlebug - snowflakes for left and right column  and  plaid  for the central column. I love JT in Imagine. After adding the reindeer from Christmas Cheer I looked at the size on the mat and approx sized the frame. Looks like icicle doesn't it. Love JT
Card base is Bazill swiss dots and the reindeer patterns are all from JT and the black is color wheel with R-0, B-0 and G-0. This gives one a rich black as not only does it add the black ink from the inkjet printer but also adds the CMY mixture (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) so that it gives a nice dark and rich black. I used bling and a ribbon which I had got from India. Loved the square and organic design on the ribbon which so complimented my card. Ribbon I decided to stick angled in the corner instead of in the regular way. I stuck the ribbon with fabric glue which made it so easy to trim.

I sanded the embossed squares and since it is printed on white - gives a lovely effect

When I took a couple of shots - I loved this one where you can see the rhinestone sparkle - Bling!! (say it with sound effect!! ). Hmm seeing it now in this angle looks like I have to use sharpie to give this guy an eyebrow and add the grin on his face. Wow! Then he will look totally sloshed!! :)

And finally the inside of the card - sentiment from Christmas Cheer too and pattern from JT

So that's my project for today which I did by crawling slowly up the stairs as yes! my hubby moved my Imagine up during the weekend and as I was going out of my mind - I climbed. Paying the price now for that climb but totally worth it!!

Love it. I'm stuck here at my Expression. Too scared to use Imagine.
