Quick and easy card

My hubby wanted a card for his office and he wanted "sober colors". So here is a quick and easy card inspired by the challenge - "stretch spring" - Ha Ha.  All the images are from easter cartridge. The butterfly is a doodle from a gel pen an inspired by a corner punch. I just lifted that design and added some more and made it into a butterfly  ie drew it as a butterfly. Pearls always adds the elegance and hubby liked it.
So here is a sober easter or spring card. Sentiment inside is stamped on a paper egg which matches the round medallion. So what is stretched the grass and the square which was welded to the flower scallops
The base is ivory card which measures 6.5 x5 so I always keep a rectangle from George as template so that i can just design the elements and add it and that way I don't have to worry about envelopes and also card base. I do cut both sometimes with the cricut but this makes it quick and easy. All in all for designing with G 1 min. and cutting and pasting  and stamping  and coloring - 4 mins. So 5 mins card. Ok if you want to go slow still 10 mins but better than buying store bought cards right?

Great card! Isn't the Easter Cart a wonderful cart!!! Nice color choice and your gel pen can doodle... mine doesn't do that!

Really cute, Pam. I used that scallop as a border on a card. I just trimmed the edge off so the scallop lined up with the back edge of the card. I will post it on my blog. I love how it turned out, too!
Thanks for sharing your tips. I check on you daily and I PROMISE I will leave more comments!
