Butterfly

Here's the first attempt of a  butterfly I made with rice paper. It did tear up a bit as the G went fast. I had to keep the hands pretty much near the blade to prevent it. I cutout just the body ( creative feature ) with cardstock so that it can stabilize the thin paper. I felt that it would be better to cut the butterfly with cardstock and then use it as template to cut thin papers and then clip it's wing off. Then I used zig embossing marker (after rubbing with the embossing pillow of course so that the powder sticks better to textured paper) and drew on the rice paper and embossed with silver Zing embossing powder. I have added some bling and twisted a wire for the antenna.
Here is a photo of my butterfly resting on my grandfather clock. I will be doing more of these for some layouts for photos from butterfly park.
