Father's Day Card

Hello there
This is Pam today. Thought I would share a simple Father's Day card.
No cricut or any die cutter for that matter just an old fashioned scissor.. Just some stamps, ink, a sack bag , scissors , glue and a black envelope and card , white cardstock and some bits of any pattern paper of your choice. I always keep some envelope and card sets in ivory and black for quick cards as I use it as base.
Here's the card

The inside

The stamps used are for the cars tim holtz - I think it was the journey collection which I got from HSN.

and the F is for father inside part of the card is from cornish heritage farms - boys collection.

The brown paper was made from sack bag. I just took one cut the edges off and crumpled and opened and first rubbed some distress ink directly and then just took a sponge dabbers and lightly wet dauber patted the paper to make it wet and then added some ink with dabber so that I can get lights and darks. I also dabbed on some broken china - blue distress in some places and voila a pattern/background paper so suitable for men. I stamped some cars and cut around it using plain handy dandy scissors. I have used some left over pattern papers bits and pieces I had left over from other projects.

Inside I used the left over brown piece from sack bag from the fold region as pocket.

Since it had a natural fold I just adhered the ends to form a pocket and added a bit of white paper in the front for my sons to write some words for their dad. In that pocket we are going to place a gift card

The other stamped car goes on the front along with a small white paper with corner cut at an angle (no  rounded corners but all angles as that says MAN to me )

So that's a Simple Father's Day card. Just some stamps and ink and of course glue scissors and paper.
Easy to make. You can use any stamp you like and make a quick and easy card. Just keep some base cards and envelopes handy.

Love this Father's Day card. I have that Tim Holtz stamp set as I used it for my wedding invites. I was just looking at it the other day and thinking about Father's Day! Thanks for sharing!
