Gypsy Tip - placing the images and resizing images in a group

While placing images in the mat - DO NOT PLACE IT TOO CLOSE TO THE EDGES OF THE MAT
and this goes for both CDS and gypsy. There is a minor discrepancy as in case of all softwares while converting from one format to another. And yes the fact that gypsy is .gypsy while CDS is .cut should tell you that they are different formats. So when you keep it to the edge then chances are some portion will disappear.
I know we all want to be in frugal but lets not try to be that frugal. You will end up wasting more paper.
And on top of that right now gypsy in the present update of firmware 0191 has a problem. Even though it allows images to hang out of the mat it has a sort of invisible barrier  at the edge of the mat. See my glitch post and video. http://www.thebugbytes.com/2010/06/gypsy-video-for-update-0191-glitch.html
When you try to move object you can feel the resistance when it moves beyond the end. When you hang it beyond it usually jumps to another place even when both sides are not hanging off.
Another thing when in a group and you want to resize the group will only go lesser than the smallest object can go. In case you have a group  where you have added a teeny tiny rectangle which for say is .1 inches and rest of the images are 4". And you try to press the smaller of the two sizing bubbles. If the rectangle can only go upto min 0.08" then the whole group will not grow any lesser. You can of course select individual images (purple) and resize . This my friends is not a glitch as that's what you want the group o do. You want to maintain the size ratios among all images. But the first one - yep a glitch

Pam,
I noticed this the other day when I was trying to curve some letter and had a circle hanging off the edge - I thought I was doing something wrong! - thanks for this information about the bug!
